Sessions AI processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Your conversations stay completely private.

01Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how Sessions AI handles data — or more accurately, how we don't handle your personal data, because we don't collect any.

02No data collection

Sessions AI does not collect any personal information. We do not:

Collect name, email, or identifying info

Require accounts or registration

Track your usage or behavior

Use analytics or tracking services

Share data with third parties

03Local processing

All processing runs entirely on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Your device does all the work — language model inference, knowledge base search and retrieval, and every built-in tool. No data is sent to our servers for processing; we have no servers that receive your conversations.

04Data storage

Everything is stored locally on your device, and we have no access to any of it:

Chat transcriptsMarkdown files in the app's Documents folder.

Knowledge baseDocuments you add are indexed locally; nothing is uploaded.

Model filesDownloaded and stored on your device.

App settingsStored on your device only.

05Optional web search

When you enable web search in Settings, the assistant can search via DuckDuckGo. Only the search query is sent — not your full conversation, chat history, or any other content. Your questions and the assistant's responses stay on your device.

06MCP & third-party servers

If you add references to MCP servers, those servers are third parties over which we have no control. We do not operate, host, or endorse them. Their privacy practices, data handling, and security are entirely their responsibility. Review the documentation and privacy policy of any MCP server before adding it.

07Your rights

AccessAll data is on your device — view it anytime.

DeleteDelete the app or clear data through your device.

ControlYou decide what documents to add, which models to use, and whether to enable web search.
