Your Privacy is Our Priority

Sessions-AI processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Your conversations stay completely private.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Sessions-AI. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how Sessions-AI handles data—or more accurately, how we don't handle your personal data, because we don't collect any.

No Data Collection

Sessions-AI does not collect any personal information. We do not:

Collect your name, email, or any identifying information
Require user accounts or registration
Track your usage or behavior
Use analytics or tracking services
Share data with third parties (because we have no data to share)

2. Local Processing

100% On-Device Processing

All processing runs entirely on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Your device does all the work:

Language model inference (LLM)
Knowledge base search and retrieval (RAG)
All built-in tools (calculator, calendar, reminders, etc.)

No data is sent to our servers for processing. We have no servers that receive your conversations. Everything happens locally on your device.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device:

Chat transcripts — Stored as markdown files in the app's Documents folder
Knowledge base — Documents you add are indexed locally; nothing is uploaded
Model files — Downloaded and stored on your device
App settings — Stored on your device only

We do not have access to any of this data. It exists only on your device.

4. Optional Web Search

When you enable web search in Settings, the assistant can search the web via DuckDuckGo. Only the search query is sent—not your full conversation, chat history, or any other content. Your questions and the assistant's responses stay on your device.

5. MCP and Third-Party Servers

Third-Party MCP Servers

If you add your own references to MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, those servers are third parties over which we have no control. We do not operate, host, or endorse these servers. Their privacy practices, data handling, and security are entirely their responsibility. We recommend reviewing the documentation and privacy policy of any MCP server before adding it to your configuration.

6. What We Don't Do

To be completely clear, Sessions-AI does not:

Collect personal information
Require user accounts
Use cloud services or backends for chat processing
Track your activity or usage
Use analytics or tracking SDKs
Share data with advertisers or third parties

7. Your Rights

You have complete control:

Access: All data is on your device—you can view it anytime
Delete: Delete the app or clear data through your device
Control: You decide what documents to add, which models to use, and whether to enable web search
